It’s important to speak with your instructor prior to signing up if you’ve never taken an aerial silks class or aren’t sure what to expect. Communicating your goals are important for both the teacher and student. Whether your goal is to join the circus or just get a killer work-out, this is the class can be tailored for you.
All students are required to fill out a PAR-Q form which can be found under the SCHEDULE tab. Please contact CVAA prior to signing up if you have any of the following conditions:
-High Blood Pressure
Aerial inversions create blood flow to the brain and eyes so it’s important to discuss these things with your physician and your instructor prior to signing up for classes. If you just aren't sure then please contact to schedule a test inversion.
Women - Please wear form fitted clothing with a shirt that can be tucked in. Yoga pants /Capri pants / stirrup leggings and a tank top are ideal. It is recommended that students keep a form fitted t-shirt with them to protect the area under your arms from fabric burn.
Men – Please wear appropriate attire under your fitted gym shorts and a fitted shirt that can be tucked in. Loose clothing can get tangled in the fabric and become a hazard.
Please bring lots of water and a yoga mat or towel.
***Kindly remove all jewelry prior to class. Jewelry is dangerous for you and can tear the silks. There are no lockers so your belongings are your responsibility.
Yes you can! I understand things come up so you are welcome to attend another class at the same level or below upon approval from the instructor. Make up classes must be made within your 6 week session.
It isn't ours! CVAA is temporarily teaching at Bullett Performance Training, located at 788 Sierra Ave. Clovis, CA 93612. We are guests in this facility and all gym equipment belongs to Bullett Performance Training. CVAA’s liability policy only covers students using aerial silks so kindly refrain from exploring the premises. Their staff is very gracious and will gladly give tours upon request.
