The Movement class is a great opportunity to try aerial silks if you just aren't sure what to expect. You will learn to move comfortably through the fabric with gentle balances appropriate for all ages and skill levels. There is no climbing but you will be invited to explore inversions in the hammock.

This class begins with both in-air & floor conditioning exercises to prepare students for the strength and endurance required to succeed here and advance to Aerial Silks / Combinations. In this class we learn the following foundation skills:


-Basic aerial terminology

-different beginner climbing techniques

-Beginner base positions including wrist lock, foot lock, dance wraps & intro to hip key. We explore many, many beautiful shapes within these positions.

-Injury prevention - Stretching and conditioning for a long healthy aerial career

Please email cvaerialacrobatics@outlook.com to schedule this class.  The beginner/intermediate class will introduce some intermediate base positions along with climbs and descents that require more strength & flexibility. We quickly progress to combinations using new and previously learned material to create a strong foundation for longer sequences! New students may sign up upon approval and must be able to demonstrate the following skills:


-Climb & descend a minimum of 15’ using any climbing technique of your choice

-Single foot lock from an L-sit in the air

-Hip-key in the air

-Dance wraps in the air

-Cross back/Straddle back inversion

Please email info@centralvalleyaerialacrobatics.com to schedule this class.  This creative class will focus on transitions, sequences and creative flow. Students should be comfortable in the air for a minimum of 4 minutes without your feet touching the ground. Permission is required to sign up.
